Hearing Evaluation
Full hearing evaluation to evaluate your ear health and measure the type and level of your hearing loss to build the right hearing plan for you. We will look at your hearing in quiet and in noise.
Tinnitus Care
Tinnitus can have small to large impacts on one’s quality of life. We will look at how your tinnitus affects your life to create a personalized tinnitus care plan.
Earpieces
Custom and non-custom earpiece options for hearing aids, noise protection, musicians, swimming, sleep, and headphone usage.

Hearing Aids
Hearing aids are one of the important parts in your hearing plan. There are many different types and models of hearing aids out there, making it our job to support you in finding the best one for your hearing and lifestyle.
We work with the 6 major manufacturers: Oticon, Phonak, ReSound, Signia, Starkey, Widex.
Ear Wax Removal
Ear wax build-up can sometimes lead to temporary hearing loss, discomfort, tinnitus, and other symptoms. The safest and most comfortable method for ear wax removal is by a licensed professional with specialized tools.
Meet the Team
Valerie T. Kun, AuD
Owner and Board Certified Audiologist

Dr. Kun is a first generation Taiwanese American born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from California State University, Los Angeles and received her doctorate in Audiology at Northwestern University. She enjoys connecting with her patients and working as a partner with them to improve their quality of life. She strongly believes that the best outcomes come from taking the time to listen to her patients’ needs to address their concerns. She is bilingual and speaks Mandarin.
Outside of work, she enjoys running half-marathons, exploring with her Siberian Husky, Kodi, and spending time with her family.

William Zhan, BS
Business Operations

William graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. He was born and lived in Tegucigalpa, Honduras for 14 years until he moved to the U.S. William oversees the day-to-day operations at Kun Hearing. He is trilingual and speaks fluent Spanish and Cantonese.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, his Siberian Husky, Kodi, and cooking.

Kun Hearing partners with MP Hearing Aid Center, a practice with over 20 years of experience serving the San Gabriel Valley, to expand hearing healthcare services east of the 605 freeway and offer two locations for your hearing needs: City of Industry and Monterey Park.
